Kennedy Space Center 2011.
09.03.2011 - Welcome home Discovery - and thank you...
Last mission for Discovery - now only two shuttle missions remain. And an era of space shuttle missions ends... Sad. One of the first television memories I have, was the first shuttle mission in 1982. Or was is '83. Can't remember, I'm so old...
the things you know :) I'm not sure what's my first TV memory but i'm pretty sure it's b/w - and we are NOT old, please! ... that's sad, indeed. shuttle missions have this great aura of looking for the unknown and discovering something amazing.
oh my gosh this is so so sweet!!!! i've no idea of what they are saying but it's so so sweet :) I used to watch a lot of kids' stuff when I was living in Copenhagen, the sounds are familiar :))) and I always found it quite fun even though I couldn't understand the stories (just bits and pieces) this is what I used to watch as a child, over and over... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DfEMHLOW8XQ
yes we are young!!! my oldest nephew asked me if I could be his sister instead of his auntie, I felt soooo young :))) my nephew is a balsam for my ego ;) their outfits are great!! I wasn't born in the 70s by the way, Mr.! :)))
what is this??? I like it! and I'm curious :)
